Sharing your videos in Agendalink is flexible and secure. You can choose exactly who can view or edit your videos by adjusting access settings. This guide walks you through the available options, from inviting specific people to granting access across your whole organization.
1. Invite People with Specific Permissions
You can directly invite users by email and set their role:
Viewer β can watch the video but cannot make changes.
Editor β can view and make edits (such as renaming, trimming, or changing access settings).
To invite:
Open the video you want to share.
Click Share.
Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
Select their role (Viewer or Editor).
Click Send Invite.
π Users will receive an email invitation and must log in to Agendalink to access the video.
2. General Access Settings
Alongside user-specific invites, you can control who can access your video through link settings.
No access (Default) β Only invited users can access. Anyone else will see a Request access page. Youβll get an email to approve or deny.
Everyone at [Organization] β Grants access to all members of your organization (using your domain email). This is helpful for internal team sharing without manually inviting everyone.
Anyone with the link β Anyone who has the link can view. Depending on your setup:
They may need to log in to Agendalink.
Or, if anonymous access is enabled, they can view without logging in.
3. Organization-Wide Access (New Feature)
With the Everyone at Organization option, you can now quickly share videos internally:
All users in your company domain automatically gain access via the share link.
Great for onboarding, training, or announcements where broad access is needed.
You can still assign Editor roles individually for team members who need editing rights.
4. Understanding Access Flows
Hereβs a quick summary of what viewers experience under each setting:
Invited Users Only β Must log in with the invited email.
Organization-Wide β Any logged-in team member with your company email can access.
Public Link β Anyone with the link can view. If anonymous access is off, they must log in.
Best Practices
Use No access for sensitive or private content.
Use Organization-Wide for internal sharing at scale.
Use Public Link when sharing externally (e.g., with clients or partners).
β With these options, you can balance security and convenience, ensuring the right people always have the right access.
